Principal's Message.


 

A vibrant, and exciting place for young people of the inner city, Blackwattle Bay Campus was launched on the Glebe High School site to become the senior campus of the Sydney Secondary College. The Campus provides an extensive senior curriculum which includes access to university developed courses, TAFE courses as well as enrichment of courses and career training by accessing the Central Business District.

Links with the universities continue to develop and include undergraduate shadowing programs, tuition programs and teacher training programs. Our Entertainment Industry Skills Centre provides hands-on training for students who wish to gain experience in this field.

We strive to develop balanced, responsible, well-informed citizens. The Students representative Council encourages students to assume leadership roles and allows them to participate in programs for positive change in the community. We offer an inclusive curriculum, extensive support for students with disabilities, and regard all students as important members of our school.

The upgrade of our facilities ensures access to the latest technology for learning. The emphasis is on success at and beyond the school.

Our motto "Equality, Opportunity, Diversity" reflects the role we believe our campus plays in the lives of our students.
